About Congregation Eitz Chayim
We are the newest and fastest growing Jewish congregation in Port Saint Lucie.  We are an inclusive, multi-generational group of individuals who embrace the joy and the celebration in Judaism.  We are a FULL SERVICE congregation.  We believe that a Jewish congregation belongs to all who seek to be a committed part of the congregation.  We are supported by the heart and pocket commitment of our members, so there are no fixed amounts that someone else sets for you and no hidden building funds.  Since providing a Jewish education to our youth is of paramount importance, there is no fixed tuition cost for our religious school.  We welcome your commitment to support those efforts.  You know that they cost money.  We are transparent about our costs and invite you to do what you can to make this community all it can be.  We treat everyone like responsible adults and we expect our members to be responsible adults and establish commitments that can be met and that meet the obligations of the congregation.

Friday night services are at 7:30 PM.  Children and families are welcome.
Shabbat morning services are at 10:30 AM.  Children and families are welcome.
We have plans for a beautiful building in Port Saint Lucie.  While our synagogue is being built, we are meeting at 540 NW University Blvd (WEST PARK) Suite 102 (in the front of the first building).

At first, we met in a private home for smaller functions, and the Traditions Town Hall for larger services and functions.  Rosh HaShanah services and Yom Kippur services were at the Traditions Town Hall.  We quickly outgrew those arrangements and have moved into these facilities while our building is being built.

Our original group was a small chavurah that met twice monthly, usually for the first Sundays for a program and third Saturdays for a Havdalah service.  That group decided in late July to make a major shift in what we did and become a full service congregation.  In less than two months, we held High Holy Day services for well over 100 members in Traditions Town Hall.  You can now help us grow our community by being part of the newest and most exciting congregation in Port Saint Lucie.

Once a year, we sponsor the Palm Tree Kallah.

We also made the decision that we would keep the chavurah activities that brought us together before we had any inkling that we would become the newest and fastest growing Reform temple (with a joyful renewal flair).  Therefore, we will continue to have our traditional Sunday Learning program on first Sundays and a Havdalah service on third Saturdays.  Both of these events feature a shlep-a-pot (bring a pot) dinners.  And if it does not work for you to bring something, do not stress.  We are Jewish - there is ALWAYS enough food.  We would love to have you join us!

We are a full service congregation, holding Friday evening Kabbalat Shabbat and Shabbat morning services. Fridays are at 7:30 PM and Saturdays are at 10:30 AM.  We have breakfast and study as part of Stolen Moments before services on Saturdays at 9:30 AM.  Please join us!

If you would like to sponsor an Oneg Shabbat on a Friday or a Kiddush lunch on Saturday, please contact us.
