If you’re looking for a spiritual Jewish community that is welcoming and inclusive, you’ve come to the right place. Congregation Eitz Chayim is the fastest growing CONGREGATION in Port Saint Lucie. We started as a chavurah, and now we are pleased to be a full-service congregation. We are a community that gathers to enjoy our Judaism and continue learning about our rich heritage and traditions. We are multi-generational, we are inclusive. You are welcome to spend some time with us and see what we are all about. We are affiliated with the Union for Reform Judaism (URJ) and with ALEPH, the Alliance for Jewish Renewal. Our youth participate in local, regional, and national events.

Some of our members are single, some are couples, some are families. Some are in complicated relationships. Some of us have children and some do not. We come in all sizes, shapes, colors, genders, and orientations. Some of us were born to Jewish families and some of us found our Jewish families later in life; some of us are exploring a Jewish life and some of us love a Jewish person and want to be part of that community. We are all God's children, made perfectly human in God's image. Come find the beauty of God's love for all of God's creation in a deeply spiritual, musical, Jewish community. Our rabbi, Rabbi Dr. Shafir Lobb, lives here in Port Saint Lucie, and is welcoming to all. You might see the rabbi at a local shop or restaurant, and the rabbi is also active in many community events.

We are building our congregation on the "Heart & Pocket" commitment model with no extra building or anything hidden fund. We promise to be candid about our expenses and know that people will commit and give what is in their heart and pocket. We will treat you as adults who know that it takes money and effort to make a congregation thrive and grow, or even survive. We expect that you will be an active part of our community and will want us to grow and thrive. So the "Heart and Pocket" model means that your commitment is based on what is in your heart tempered by what your pocket will allow you to give. When we are all generous of heart, we can be there for each other. We will not ask you for tax forms nor will we turn you away because of current financial or other concerns. We treat you like responsible adults who care about your community; our Temple belongs to all of us.
